When constructing my resume, I didn't want to make something regular. I wanted to show the employer/client right off the bat my illustration skills, and letting them know i like to make everything beautiful, pop, and fun to read. If I can make my resume fun to read, then I believe the person reading it will more likely want to go to the next step.
