Channing Tatum has not yet been confirmed to play the role of fan favorite "Gambit" in the up coming X-Men Movie. I am very excited to see this character get his long awaited screen time, as it was not enough in the Wolverine Origin movie.
When I first heard teenage heartthrob Heath Ledger being cast as the Joker, I thought it was the worst move in the history of Comic book movies. But I was never proven more wrong, and I think with the right director, writer, and dedication from an actor you can pull off a cinematic master piece. It seems that Channing has been a fan for awhile and shows signs that he is willing to do what it takes.
Because all of the articles surrounding this story have only used Channing's face and/or Gambit's, I decided to do a little photoshop work, enjoy.
My mother would take me to art class every saturday during my late elementary and middle school years. It was then that I started to develop basic art skills such as shaping, lighting, and shadows. Back then Spawn was my favorite character above all. More than any wolverine, gambit, or batman. To me he was the coolest. Growing up looking at the artwork of Todd McFarlane made me want to become an artist. I don't know if I would be where I am today without Spawn.
