Studying the female face profile. I started working with different emotions. Loved staying up till 2 last night drawings these. It was so hot to go to bed at a reasonable hour.
This year I finally did it. I bought a digital drawing pad. Learning how to draw digitally has been great. I find that with each time I got back to it I get better and my completed work is a better quality than the last.

Found a sketch I made back in 2003 and decided to give it some color. I don't remember the reason why I sketched this Lady with the mean eyebrows. Sometimes you sketch something not knowing what to do and things just tend just take shape. 
Not Just another book Report.
The moment when I realized that I had some artistic talent. I was assigned to do a book report in 4th grade (1994). The assignment was to do a write a summary of a book on the back of this construction paper and then draw something that represents the book on the front. After the project all of the student's work hung in the classroom for a few weeks.
When drawing the scarecrow out I thought there was no way its going to come out good cause up until this point I was just coloring in coloring books. After finishing the piece I was so happy on how it came out. It came out better than I could have ever imagined. The excitement carried over through dinner and my mom then offered to take me to an art class on the weekend. I said "yes", and the rest is history.
Finally done with the drawing half of this. Now its time to start working on the color . 
Shading is just about done on the joker. Finishing up on Lex. Then going to hit the colors.
